The Rebel

November 26, 2012

A passage written by my father, Frank J. Surface:

In the eyes of the molded images that spill forth from our systems of learning, the rebel is an idiot. These who are well indoctrinated in greed take advantage of this simple love the rebel has in his heart. They use his honesty and trust to gain an advantage over him then take his money, power, and position in life and afterword laugh at his misery.

Even though the rebel has been robbed, the world finds that he is made of a very hard and durable steel. He is able to withstand all these pressures from the world. This power to sustain is drawn from an unending source of power, God.
