Life of PI ~ Review

August 1, 2012

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I had downloaded and read the kindle version: Life of PI I like the kindle version because I can make the words larger and bolder, easier for me to read. I suspect I will go see the movie when it comes out.

Somehow I knew this story would agree for me the moment I saw the trailer on YouTube. I was anxious to get the book. I remember as a child reading the book called The Story of Little Black Sambo. Also I remember reading as a child, My Side of the Mountain. Quests and survival stories have and still do attract my attention.

PI captured my attention because of the spiritual search I have been on for sometime and in reality this book has helped me. I’ve always wondered why religions are so hard on each other. Why can’t there be a better acceptance so we can learn and share from each other instead of argue over who is right or wrong. The common denominator is God and no matter how the story is told, it is basically which story do we prefer the best. This registers really good with me.
