GIVING OFF A RANT A RAVE AND HOT STEAM

June 13, 2011

I was watching the WW11 documentary films on the history channel yesterday. It has upset me to where I must do something, so, here I am doing it, letting off a ‘rant,’ a ‘rave,’ and of course a lot of hot steam.

Why can’t this damned world learn to live in peace? Why must men continue killing each other? Why can we not live in peace one with the other?

I was in the military. Luckily, I was not in combat. The closest I came to it was in Viet Nam, when the Cong lobbed a few rockets among our barracks. I was never in any type of danger, and of course I was one of the very lucky ones. I never had to face any sort of enemy face to face.

I never had to fear death on the ground in Viet Nam. The closest I ever came to danger was while flying as a radio operator, and that was not a real danger, we lost a couple of our four engines, while over the Pacific. That was not anything compared to what I witnessed yesterday in those documentaries on the great war.

On the other hand, my brother, who lives next door to me, and is married to my wife’s sister, making us all very close in all respects, has had a much different experience. He is eleven years older than I, I will be 80 in Sept., he will be 91 in July, next month.

He was a flight engineer on the B-29s that made raids over Tokyo, he weathered 35 missions, had one plane shot out from under him. He was in total danger all the time. He was on the island of Tinian, the same location as where the Atomic bombs were.

I never had to go through any thing like that. So many young guys lost their lives, not ever having a chance to enjoy life, a wife and family. This happening both to Americans, Japanese and Germans. It just is not fair, and I feel angry, but I do not know what to be angry at.

Those poor guys were being shot out of the skies, this happening on both sides of the line both ours and the enemy. Not fair, none should have to die, regardless of where they are from. My heart bled for both sides, both ours and the German, and of course the Japanese.

Those guys were all the same, they hurt and bled the same, they all had hearts, they all had mothers, whose world is shattered. It matters not to me whether German, Japanese, or whatever, I do not like to see death, and especially in war atmospheres. That is because there should be no wars.

We are all human, we are made the same, we all feel pain in body and heart, we all have loves and hates. We are the very same flesh, why ‘O God’ can’t we learn to love and have compassion for one another?

The ones who make the wars are never the ones who have to fight them, being wounded, and dying in them. They always send the poor innocent, helpless young to do their bidding. ‘God, take all these high elites, and let them fight their own battles, and leave the rest of us alone.’ If they want to be wounded, torn apart, and die, then I will not stand in their way. Let them feel the real sorrows that come from such foolishness.

My personal belief and standard:

THE TRUE STAFF OF LIFE:
ROMANS 10:9-10
YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH, “JESUS IS LORD,” AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED.

FOR IT IS WITH YOUR HEART THAT YOU BELIEVE AND ARE JUSTIFIED, AND IT IS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT YOU CONFESS AND ARE SAVED.

ECCLESIASTES —
[9] The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

[10] Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

There is no new thing under the sun, what was somebody’s past, is our future. Prophecy is the relating of past history.

Romans 8:
[29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

[30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified

EPHESIANS 1:
[4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
REVELATION 17:
[8] The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
——————————————————————-

We are eternal entities, being ordained prior to the foundation of the world. That is, those of us who have our names in the ‘Book of life, from the foundation of the world.’
