Regardless of what title he may have, he is the same, always has been, and always will be. At the present, God has turned this snake in the grass, loose on our world. This, he did to old Job, and he, old scratch head, is doing to us what he did to Job. The only difference being, he was forbidden to take Job’s life, where as here, taking life is not forbidden.

In this age, he is able to use what-ever devilish methods which come from the mind of man, (and he is free to plant in the minds of men ideas of his own) in order to destroy man. The weather is not with-held from his devices of devastation.
Any method which comes to his mind, he can use against mankind.

At the present time, our world, and nation in particular, has gone mad. No rhyme or reason in any direction. Good examples of this can be found, of course, mainly, in government. Not to be overlooked are those fields of education, religion, and entertainment. All manner of Godliness has, and is being eliminated, Satanism is the order of the day.

(The Devil’s dictionary 1881 – 1906)
SATAN, n. One of the Creator’s lamentable mistakes, repented in sashcloth and ashes. Being instated as an archangel, Satan made himself multifariously objectionable and was finally expelled from Heaven. Halfway in his descent he paused, bent his head in thought a moment and at last went back. “There is one favor that I should like to ask,” said he. “Name it.” “Man, I understand, is about to be created. He will need laws.” “What, wretch! you his appointed adversary, charged from the dawn of eternity with hatred of his soul — you ask for the right to make his laws?” “Pardon; what I have to ask is that he be permitted to make them himself.” It was so ordered.

Now you see it folks, Satan requested that man make his own laws. Our own little nest of snakes which slither here and yon in DC are our law makers. It was Satan himself that requested this. Washington can shout the victory with their icon of power who himself made the suggestion. How wise Satan was in requesting this, he knew that man would eventually law himself to death.

So they now, 545 in all, spend twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year doing nothing more than fabricating this cobweb of laws for the rest of mankind to abide by, incidentally, they themselves, are immune to most of them.

This should make you feel good all over. It does me, I now know that I am in good hands. Nothing to be afraid of, nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to worry about, life is again worth living. What a wonderful combination, Satan as an initiator of our law system, an Lucifer in charge of our wealth, who could ask for anything better.

The marriage between Satan and Lucifer, (Gay) you know, and that is lawful, so we should be so proud to have this as a make-up of our governmental system, a real model for our children.
I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. –Luke 10:18.
Easton’s 1897 Bible Dictionary:
Satan adversary; accuser. When used as a proper name, the Hebrew word so rendered has the article “the adversary” (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-7). In the New Testament it is used as interchangeable with Diabolos, or the devil, and is so used more than thirty times. He is also called “the dragon,” “the old serpent” (Rev. 12:9; 20:2); “the prince of this world” (John 12:31; 14:30); “the prince of the power of the air” (Eph. 2:2); “the god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4); “the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Eph. 2:2). The distinct personality of Satan and his activity among men are thus obviously recognized. He tempted our Lord in the wilderness (Matt. 4:1-11). He is “Beelzebub, the prince of the devils” (12:24). He is “the constant enemy of God, of Christ, of the divine kingdom, of the followers of Christ, and of all truth; full of falsehood and all malice, and exciting and seducing to evil in every possible way.” His power is very great in the world. He is a “roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet. 5:8). Men are said to be “taken captive by him” (2 Tim. 2:26). Christians are warned against his “devices” (2 Cor. 2:11), and called on to “resist” him (James 4:7). Christ redeems his people from “him that had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Heb. 2:14). Satan has the “power of death,” not as lord, but simply as executioner.

[6] Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
How many ‘sons of God’ does God have? Here it is mentioned in verse six that the sons of God came before the Lord, a question, if this is the Lord, is he not God, and as such, are these his sons? Now add to this the ‘sons of God’ who found the daughters of man desirable? I have, in the past, assumed that Jesus was the ‘only’ son. All of these other ‘sons,’ might some how come from questionable sources.
Gen. 6:
[2] That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
A few of the great many scriptures which pertain to our old adversary. He, it appears, is able to enter into men’s mind at will, and influence them in the direction he desires.
Job 1:
[7] And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

[8] And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

[9] Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

[12] And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

[1] Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

[2] And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

[3] And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

[4] And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

[6] And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

[7] So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

[10] Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

[15] And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

[18] And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

[18] If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

[3] Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

[31] And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

[27] And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

[11] Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[7] And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders

[9] I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

[13] I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

[2] And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

[7] And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

My personal belief and standard:

ROMANS 10:9-10

[9] The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

[10] Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

There is no new thing under the sun, what was somebody’s past, is our future. Prophecy is the relating of past history.

Romans 8:
[29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

[30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified

[4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
[8] The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

We are eternal beings, being ordained before the foundation of the world. That is, those of us who have our names in the ‘Book of life, from the foundation of the world.’
