“The resurrection, we will all be brought back, some to life, and some to hell fire and damnation, which shall it be, there is no in between“? A question shouted by fanatical preachers when I was a young lad.

I can remember well, the red face, the rivulets of perspiration streaming down their face, there was no air conditioning back in my day, and shouting at the top of their voice in apparent desperation, “ will it be heaven or hell?”

Many jumped from their bench and ran to the altars, kneeling there and praying fervently for salvation, and I was one of them. I received salvation, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

That is due to the preacher belting out a sermon about sin being sin, caring less who it may offend. Back in that day, people were concerned about their soul, they believed in both heaven and hell.

I have not heard this type of preaching in many years, in fact, I am unable to remember the last time I was under these type of sermons. This is due to the fact that the preachers of today must adhere to the strict outlines of the IRS, or they will lose their tax exempt status. The IRS has killed the church world, due to the golden calf.

What the preachers were putting forth then, is just as true today, as it was then. Sin is sin, regardless of the language used to cover it, but none dare preach of sin, as it may offend the sinner, and God forbid, that must not happen.
[23] The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
[28] Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
[30] For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
spoken unto you by God, saying,
[31] But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
[32] I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
We marry and are as couples here on earth for the purpose of reproducing. This is not needed on the spiritual side. Therefore, there are no wives or husbands, we are single entities. Hard to think of an existence without a partner, without the wife, but that is the way it is.

Possibly the curse that has been placed on mankind, the curse of sex will be nonexistent, a torture which we, as the male gender, have had to suffer with from the very beginning. Yes, it is a curse, many good men from all walks of life have been persecuted, losing their livelihoods, their reputations, their families, and some times even their lives, due to an uncontrollable sex urge, brought on by the sight of the female body.

Thank God, if it does not exist on the other side of death. I see just about every day, an article where some poor soul has been placed under the axe, due to uncontrolled sex urges.
[29] And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Here is that dividing point, some go into life, and some into damnation. All will come back, however, to follow two separate paths. I suppose that all faiths have this in their teachings. Good to the faith, and against the faith. It was true back in my day, and is just as true today, if not more so. Should we strive for the left, or for the right.

I have found in life, almost every thing is in doubles. Negative and positive electricity, black and white colors, male and female, right and wrong, hot and cold, night and day. Life itself is graded in doubles, either failure or success. Two of everything we have every day. Stop and go at the traffic light, God and Satan as our spiritual leaders.
[24] Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
[25] Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Jesus is the resurrection, and the life. We must enter into life through him, it is only by faith in Jesus that life can be obtained. There is no other way, no other faith, no other passage, only by the faith in Jesus. One can have faith in God the Father only, but, that is not sufficient to enter into life. It must be by His Son, Jesus. God the Father, and Jesus are one and the same.
[31] He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
[32] This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
[33] Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
[34] For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
In verse 31, it is referring to Christ, who after being crucified, did not remain in hell, or having his flesh deteriorate, as does our bodies, when placed in the grave. In this instance, I feel that when hell is referred to, it is the earth, the grave, the soil. In Jesus‘ situation, the burial cave, which had a large stone at the entrance.

When we die, I have no idea of where our soul flees to, but according to verse 34, we remain in our grave until such time as the resurrection takes place. I know that Jesus went to the right hand of God, but we are not Jesus. His sperm came from a much different source than did ours. Therefore, he was a different human than you or I. The sperm of Jesus had to originate from a human source, or it would not have united with the human egg in Mary.
[18] Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
[32] And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
There have always been doubters, ones who do not believe in the resurrection, the eternal life, Jesus, or God. They can be found living life to it’s fullest, nothing is a sin, and all is lawful, until they are caught. They feel this life is the only life, and there is no other. It is easy to fall into this trap, and disown belief, when life becomes so hard and unbearable. When one is witness to the murder of a loved one, it is easy to hate, and to ask, “where is your God?”
[6] But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
[8] For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
Back in the day of Jesus, the ones that did not believe, were the Sadducees, and the ones who were fanatical about God, were the Pharisees. Today, the ones who do not believe are atheists, and the fanatical are Christians. Same two paths, just under different titles.
[5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Here is a verse that states outright, that when we die and planted in the grave, that like Jesus, who was resurrected, so shall we be resurrected. I fully believe that we existed somehow, some place, prior to our birth as a human, and will continue to exist after our death. However we will exist ether in glory, or in damnation. Our experience as human, is just a short blip in the river of eternity.
[12] Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
[13] But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
A puzzle of sorts, which I have meditated on for a long time. The Father of Jesus was God, yet, Jesus was a human, similar to the rest of us. It takes a human sperm, to become a human. Therefore, the sperm which was placed in Mary, had to come from a human source. Where does this place God the Father? I have made a study about this very thing, and I have come to a conclusion that I feel is the actual truth. Click on this article:

I feel that I have arrived at the answer to this question, and it seems more logical than any which appear magical, and totally unrealistic.
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
All hope is based on the fact that Jesus was raised from the dead. If in fact he was raised from the dead, is he the only one to have been brought back? God states that he is the God of the living, not the dead, as an example he is the God of: (Matt: 22: [31] But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
[32] I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.)
If as he says, he is the God of the living, and uses Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as examples of the living, are they in deed, alive along with Jesus at this present time? If they are alive, what about the rest of the dead, are they also alive someplace on the other side? The one question that we do not, and can not answer.
[5] But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The question concerning the dead seems to be answered here. It states that the rest of the dead lived (again, past tense,) not until the second resurrection. In a word, the only ones alive now on the other side, are Jesus, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When we die, we lie in limbo until resurrected, either at the first, or the second time of resurrection.

I have noticed that the prophecy spoken of in most cases, is in the past tense, for example in verse (Rev.20:5) two words indicate the past, that it has already happened. Those two words, ‘lived and were,’ this indicates to me that all of this has already come about, and what the prophets who author this, are writing, is to them, past history. That is the reason prophecy is so accurate, it is past history to those who are writing it. Again refer to my article listed above about who, what and where is God.
[6] Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

My personal belief and standard:

ROMANS 10:9-10
