BLASPHEMY – 1. disrespect for religion: disrespect for God or sacred things
2. something showing disrespect for religion: something done or said that shows disrespect for God or sacred things
BLASPHEME – 1. intransitive verb swear impiously: to swear in a way that insults religion
2. transitive and intransitive verb insult religion: to treat God or sacred things disrespectfully through words or action XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
This can be a very controversial subject, one that could offend a lot of people in one respect or the other. I feel that blasphemy can come in many different colors so to speak, not only by the tongue, but also by action.

It is reason for one to choose his words, his conversation very carefully. Something which this world does not do. I feel our nation has expressed great blasphemy in outlawing God both in the court room, and in the class room.

Not much if any thing in the scriptures describe what or who the ‘Holy Ghost,’ may be. I feel that he, the ‘Holy Ghost,’ is in all true teachings of God’ s holy word. To say, or act against this, in my humble opinion, is blasphemy.
[31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men
Blasphemy fills all of viewing entertainment of today. It is done both in the shadows, and out in the open. No shame, no guilty conscience, no pride, what a pity. God does not enter in any of the actions of this day. Prayer is not practiced. How dead the world has become in my 79 years of age.

The young of today think nothing of displaying all manner of blaspheme, both by voice and by what they want to call ‘body art’.

I am able to see blasphemy on every hand, in the rule of man over man, in the home, in the entertainment industry, in the educational systems, in the religious field, and sometimes even in my own imaginations, which run wild. Who can know the mind of man, who can control it?

It is like the clouds in the skies, they go in whatever direction the wind blows. The world of humanity has gone insane over sex, riches, fame and self worship. Due to this, all manner of blasphemy is in play. It is like an uncontrolled automobile going a hundred miles an hour.
Mark 7
[18] And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, t
hat whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
[19] Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
[20] And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
[21] For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
[22] Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
[23] All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
There are religious beliefs, that treat certain foods as being unholy, and others which are holy and can be safely consumed within their faith. Foods in themselves hold no sacredness whatsoever. All foods which are fit for human consumption are to be accepted. One type of food is no more or no less holy than the other.

As Jesus stated, it is not what goes into the belly which sanctifies, or which condemns, it goes on out as waste. It is physical materials for the physical body, has nothing to do with spirituality.

It is all those things which fly off the tongue, that condemn, things such as: evil thoughts – adulteries -fornications -murders -thefts -covetousness – wickedness -deceit – lasciviousness – an evil eye -blasphemy – pride and foolishness. These all come from the heart, the mind of man, not the stomach.

One would think that I was trying to identify congress with all that is said in the above.
[61] But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
[62] And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
[63] Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
[64] Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
[65] And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.
Here is where the Jews accuse Jesus of blasphemy, because He identifies Himself as the very Son of God. Of course, the Jews did not recognize Him as such. Therefore when He stated that He was the Son of God, to them, that was blasphemy, and for this, He was to be put to death.
John 10
[24] Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
[25] Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
[26] But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
[28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
[29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
[30] I and my Father are one.
[31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
[32] Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
[33] The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
[34] Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Now, here is a statement which sort of backs what my opinion has been all along. He has stated that we are all gods. Like I have stated in my other articles, I feel that we existed far before our birth as humans, and shall do so after our eyes close in death. In a sense, we are gods, we are from that world of God, whatever, or whoever He is. We are here for just a short interlude of time to be tested for future endeavors.

Of course when Jesus states that He is not only the very Son of God, but that He and the Father are one and the same. For this he is to the Jews a blasphemer of the worst color.
[35] If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
[36] Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
[37] If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
[38] But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
[39] Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
[1] If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
[2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
[3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
[4] When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
[5] Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
[6] For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
[7] In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
[8] But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
[11] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
[12] Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
[13] Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
[14] And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
[16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
[17] And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
[18] Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
[19] Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
[20] Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
[21] Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
[22] Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
[23] And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
[24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
[25] But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
I have here the complete chapter of Col. 3: which states how we are to live, and conduct ourselves, and the promises of glory beyond description for our love of God. It is a group of scriptures which should be read and taken to heart.

[9] I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
[1] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
[6] And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
[3] So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
There are a great many who have tried to decipher these scriptures of Revelation. I will not attempt to do so myself, as I am not that knowledgeable of world events. I do know that we have a world government, and that the governments of all the world are led by Satan-Lucifer. I know that there is great blasphemy on all levels of government, and it very well could be this terrible beast.

      Yep! 79 long years of life, really I do not feel that old. I use to look at the old men, when I was younger, those who were in the 70s and think, ‘Wow, those are sure old codgers, I will never reach that age’. But I have, I am two years older than my dad was when he passed away. Love Dad
