IS HUMANITY ETERNAL? Part 5

March 3, 2010

Part 5 of 8
//////////////////////////////////////////////
Luke 17
[22] And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
[23] And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
[24] For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
//////////////////////////////////////////////
There are many of us on earth, who are diligently searching for knowledge and wisdom pertaining to God and His kingdom, and I am sure that all of us are equally desirous for the day of God, when we know that Jesus is on the very thresh hold, ready to make His grand entrance. And there are many out there who are trying to gain a following of admirers, doing it with false teachings, and they are as wise as serpents, and just as deadly.

We, with our knowledge are to ascertain reality and truth from the fake. By using wisdom, one is able to know the scriptures, and correlate them with the signs of the times, and know for a certainty at what stage we are in pertaining to the return of Christ. Unfortunately, there are many who are what I term as brain dead, who refuse to listen to reasoning or wisdom. To them wisdom is foolishness, as a result I have learned to ignore them and not waste my time on them. I compare them to politics, and the IRS controlled church social clubs.

We have studied Mat 24:29-30 actually the complete chapter, however notably verses 29-30, and know without a doubt that none of these happenings have come about. We are told when to expect His return, what signs will take place. If any preaches other than this, then they are in error, and I am sorry to say, many, far too many do preach other than this, which is false, and these who preach this should not be taken seriously, for they know not the scriptures.

[25] But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
/////////////////////////////////////////////
Jesus had to bear his cross, and He knew there was no escaping it, therefore He accepted it and I just imagine looked forward to it, due to that would be the end of a long torturous journey on this earth. It could be very similar to that of a woman about to give birth, excruciating pain prior to the birth of beauty. The pain must be endured in order for beauty to emerge.

This is where the false prophets which are as wise and deadly as vipers,

make their play, they preach, and I have heard it in the pulpits since childhood, imminent rapture of the saints, to expect it at any time. In other words the people are comforted by a false comfort, if Christ comes now, you avoid two things, death, and the tribulations from the beast. They without knowledge of scriptures wave the bible above their heads and shout, ‘ all prophecies have been fulfilled, and Jesus, Glory to God, could come at any moment.’

The prophecies have not yet been fulfilled, and we must all face death, and tribulation, we are no better than Jesus, we too must take up our cross and carry it the same as Jesus. We are no better than the rest of humanity when it comes to the troubles of the world, and the fear and dread of the pains of death.

Luke 20
[33] Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
[34] And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
[35] But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
[36] Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
[37] Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
[38] For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
////////////////////////////////////////////////
We have discussed this before about how we all shall be equal in the Kingdom, neither marrying, or having children, the act of reproducing will not be needed. Being the children of God, and children of the resurrection, we shall be as the angels, spiritual, never to die again, eternal, existing forever. No need for reproduction, because, like God and His angels, we will be forever. Reproduction on this earth is needed to replace those of us, the old and lame who are dying off. The physical body deteriorates rotting back to dirt, the spiritual is forever and ever and ever.

This will of course take place two different times, first when Jesus returns to earth to administer the wrath of God, and to set up His kingdom of a thousand years, and the second time when the Great White Throne comes into being. What a glorious time that will be, no more problems of marriage, family, securing means to provide food, and shelter, no more medical problems, nor problems arising from an aging body of flesh and bone. Just speculating on what all this means sends shivers up my spine. Not only that but glories which we as
humans have no knowledge of. How wonderful that is going to be. My spirit yearns for the release from this body of misery, and this world of turmoil, and strife, wars, and hatred on all sides. My goal is to strive to qualify for that glorious privilege. My life is devoted to that end, I ignore all else other than simple survival.

Luke 24
[34] Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
[35] And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
[36] And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
[37] But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
[38] And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
[39] Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
[40] And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////
With the technology available to the God head, one is able to be either spirit, or flesh and blood. Jesus chose to use his human body in order to set an example for his disciples, that He indeed was dead, and now is alive. If He had come as a spirit, they would not have been able to see and feel of him, convincing themselves that He was in fact real, not an illusion.

This has just come to me, Jesus came back and was among His disciples as a human, the human that He was prior to his murder, every little detail was the same as before His blood was shed on the cross. This will be the same for us at judgment, we, in our bodies shall stand before God in these bodies we now have. At that time after being judged, we then become totally spiritual, but not before the judgment. We will be alive in our bodies, but not eternal. The damned in their human bodies will be fed to the fires of hell and they shall feel the searing pain of their flesh burning. We then are given the spiritual bodies that God deems as necessary. What will those bodies be like, only God knows.

[41] And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
[42] And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
[43] And he took it, and did eat before them.
[44] And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in
the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
[45] Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
[46] And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
/////////////////////////////////////////////////
Christ Jesus reemphasized that all prophecies written by the prophets of old, pertaining to his walk on earth at that time, had to be fulfilled. All of the law of Moses, in the prophets, and in the psalms had to come to pass before He was to be crucified on the cross, and to rise on the third day.

All these prophecies pertained to Jesus’ coming to earth as a sacrifice, (not to set up His Kingdom,) although He gave the good news pertaining to that Kingdom, had to, and were filled. Therefore, we can correctly assume that the prophecies pertaining to the second coming are just as accurate.

He also gave very pertinent and to the point prophecies to come about prior to His returning in glory and power to administer God’s Wrath, and to actually establish His Kingdom which will be for a thousand years.

Not one will be omitted. So in order to know the signs of the times, and what to look for and expect one must study word by word the scriptures, and then reread them again, to come to an understanding. Even then, after all this they must be reviewed time and again, because each time a new streak of wisdom will jump out at you from them.

John 3
[14] And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
[15] That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
//////////////////////////////////////////////
It appears to me that the most important topic, the meat of the matter, the heart and soul of the worship of God, is that of attaining eternal life. There are rewards other than that, however the very heart of the matter is that of life eternal for true believers. In verse (15) above is given the qualification needed to obtain eternal life, it is real, it is to be believed and searched for as a worth above all worth. Yes, and yes again, humanity is eternal. It does not come cheap, nor does it come easy, neither does becoming a brain surgeon come easy or cheap, both have rewards, both demand sacrifice, not only sacrifice, but great sacrifice. One is able to do both with much sacrifice, be a brain surgeon and also obtain eternal life. There is only one path to this end, and it is all compressed into one simple verse of scripture.

Somehow, of course I have no proof or scriptural backing, I feel that our very being, our mind, or brain is interfaced to that databank of God’s master computer, which is termed the ‘Tree of Life,’ the pass
word to it’s objective which is eternal life, is believing, true blue believing that Jesus is our Savior, our Lord and Christ. The databank is able to determine true and sincere devotion, therefore it is able to grant life which never ends.

Of course this is not actually granted while still walking about in this body, but will be awarded upon resurrection, either at the coming of Christ, or at the Great White Throne. The ‘software’ of our mind, our daily lives is stored in this databank of all databanks, the tree of life, the book of life which will be opened at the command of God when time has ended for the earth and heavens.

We all, the prophets of old, the disciples of Jesus, the saints who have proved their devotion to the Savior, and those who will be murdered during the reign of the beast which is the Antichrist, all are, or will rest, sleep in the earth till that great moment when God depresses the ‘Enter’ key, and the software is activated which brings us all back in segments, individuals, as families, and as generations.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////
John 3
[26] And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
[27] John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
[28] Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
[29] He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
[30] He must increase, but I must decrease.
[31] He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
[32] And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
[33] He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
[34] For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
[35] The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
John 4
[13] Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
[14] But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting
life.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////
So true, what me or anybody else has to say concerning the spiritual, is said in earthly terms and manners, our individual take on the matter concerning the spiritual, we speak in earthly terms, not being able to understand or recognize that which is spiritual. We, while we travel about in this body of corruption, are still in the ‘Adam,’ stage of reality, when this body is at last planted in the earth, and time has elapsed till that great moment, we understand nothing spiritual.

We can do no more, or no less than what our minds have been programmed to do, which is ‘predestination,’ programmed far prior to creation itself. Then we take on the body of Christ, and become as the angels of heaven. How glorious that shall be, I am anxious to be on with my journey to eternity.
