LORD CAME DOWN
Bible, King James Version
I have always been fascinated by the super natural. In my younger years, the only fiction I would read was science fiction types of stories. It is this interest in the paranormal that got me into the bible in the first place.
The first time I scanned through it, the KJV of the bible, I was able to see that it was more or less based on that which to humanity is not at all normal. After that I dug deeper, and scrutinized it with greater care, taking notes and categorizing.
I finalized my studies, and considered my efforts in this area over. This took a great portion of my life, with the reading, and re-reading the complete bible several times. However, I am still finding things that tickle my interest, and in this writing are the ones that I will put some more effort into.
It appears to me that most of the supernatural actions of God, pertaining to ever day types of actions, and especially those that touch on the worship and the laws of God, seem to have taken place most often in the olden days of the earth. As time progressed, those physical actions have slacked off to the point where they are none existent.
What I am referring to about the physical actions, are those of God’s contact with man, He coming down to earth to advise, and to warn. He walking and talking face to face with humanity. This seemed to happen quite frequently during these early years of man.
One thing that has been stuck in the back of my mind is, who was around to record those initial events of the books of Genesis, and all the books to follow, and do it with such detail? I know there were no materials to do this as we have today, yet, who actually noted how God created everything as is stated in Genesis? How did they who did this recording, know about time such as days, weeks and years?

LORD CAME DOWN
Gen.11
[1] And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
[2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
[3] And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
[4] And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
[5] And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
[6] And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
[7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
[8] So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
[9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

It is very apparent to me that the Lord is up and above our heads, now where do you suppose this is that He actually resides, while watching over the activities of man? He is able to descend and ascend at will, where and when He wants. Sort of brings to mind the scenes from Star Wars– “Beam me up Scotty.”
He came down to specifically inspect this action that the Babylonians were doing, the building of this tower in order to reach the gods. Could they see where these gods were residing up in the heavens above their heads? Knowing human nature, I would assume that they were able to see something up in the heavens, rather than to just be building up into the empty heavens.
How did they know what the Lord would do to them, (verse 4) prior to Him actually doing it? What prompted them to think they could build a city and tower prior to the warning from the Lord about scattering them over the earth? Did they feel that if they could complete it in time that it would prevent this from happening?
As is very evident, they did not succeed and as a result, the Lord scattered them over the earth, and confounded their languages. Something the present day demagogues are trying to undo.

Exod.19
[1] In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
[3] And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
[4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
[7] And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
[8] And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.
[9] And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
[10] And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
[11] And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
[12] And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
[13] There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.
[14] And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
[15] And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
[16] And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
[17] And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
[18] And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
[19] And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
[20] And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
[21] And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
[22] And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.
[23] And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
[24] And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.
[25] So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.

Now, here is a complete chapter (Ex 19) that is filled with mysteries, metaphors, and symbolisms. Of course that is a description fitting most of the writings in the bible. For that very reason, it is nearly impossible to get a true meaning. A meaning is there, but it is hidden, buried, and covered over in so many ways that to the casual observer it is totally lost.
(Verses 1- 9) rehashes the trip out of Egypt, and their little hike through the wilderness, with a qualifier, a promise is given to the people, which of course they never follow, human nature you know.
(Verses 10 – 14) instructions to the people on what to do when He, the Lord comes to speak to them. Boundary limits, and warnings as to what would happen should any cross the boundary. (Verses 15-17) they can come out to hear the Lord, however, no wives allowed (v15).
Now in (verse 16) something comes to mind which I think describes what actually happened when the Lord touched earth. A huge space vehicle alighted atop the mountain, and in the process, there came from it loud noises, flashing lights, and a mighty blast of an exhaust of sort, which in turn blew clouds of dust into the air. To this cloud of dust, I just imagine a very heavy smoke screen was also activated in order to hide the whole scenario. Naturally all of this would frighten the people, they had no idea of what it was.
(V18) Explains my suspicions even more clearly, the fire, the smoke, and even the shaking of the mountain itself, must have been a very large vehicle to have done all that.
(V19) I suspect that this ‘trumpet’ that all heard was some what of a ‘Claxton’ horn, which in volume grew louder and louder. This was to get the attention of everybody. At last the Lord spoke through this amplified pubic address system to Moses, and Moses answered.
(V20) The Lord then descends from the space vehicle to the top of the mountain, and calls again for Moses to come up to Him. (V21-25) Moses does as commanded, and ascends to the top of the mountain.
Possibly I am wrong, but it seems that the Lord in this situation is human in form, not something fluffy and cloud like, Man to man.
There the Lord tells him to go back down and warn again the people about crossing any of the boundaries, as it will be deadly for them. Somehow, this brings to me the thought of deadly types of emissions from the space craft, which is toxic for humanity.

Num 11:
[25] And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
____________________________________________________________________A real mystery here, He of course came down in the very familiar cloud, which always seems to be present when He confronts mankind. He is always ‘coming down’ from that very conspicuous home in the sky. I doubt seriously that it is at a very high altitude, due to the fact He is always handy and there when needed. Not as a ‘spirit’ but as an actual human. Possibly dressed quite different from the natives, but still under all the coverings, there is a human, who speaks with great authority.
How does one ‘take the Spirit’ as is stated here, as if it were some sort of magical wand that can be physically handled? By taking this ‘Spirit’ he, the Lord anointed each of the seventy elders.
I have had some experience along this line. The denomination to which I am associated with believe in the ‘Holy Spirit’ and it is
Believed to exist at certain times in dedicated prayer, and in preaching.
When it is there, the one whom it descends on is able to ‘Speak in Tongues,’ and prophesy, that is to more or less re-emphasize what the preacher has just preached on or about. As a side note, God touched me in the long years past, in the Spirit, and since that instant, I have the ability to ‘Speak in Tongues.’

Num.12
[1] And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
___________________________________________________________________
As I have stated before in earlier writings, I hold myself flexible, so that I am able to change as I see fit, when and wherever need be. This I am afraid is one of those times. I must do what some have said, ‘Eat Crow’ I have committed the same sin that both Miriam and Aaron did in (verse 1). They spoke against Moses because he married and Ethiopian woman. A white man marrying a black woman. Many times in the past I have not only spoken against this, but did so very vehemently, with strong hate. Now, I see where not somebody else is wrong, but that I, me, myself was wrong. Never again will I commit this terrible thing. Please God forgive me this.
I just became aware of this terrible thing I have done after reading verse one. The many times that I have read these scriptures, this seems to have been hidden from me. It is very hard to admit a wrong, yet I must do that, as I was definitely wrong according to the scriptures I have read, and researched here. A racist I have been, a sin against God and man, I now must bow my head in shame for what I have done.

[2] And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.
________________________________________________________________________
It is plainly evident that the Lord in this case is a person, a man who is able to listen and hear as we do, does this mean that He is not omnipresent? I had always assumed that the Lord knew everything in a person’s mind before, during, and after that person spoke. Yet, here in verse 2 it states that He, the Lord HEARD what was spoken and was evidently not aware of their thoughts prior to this, to do this he had to have had the two ears as we do.

[3] (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
[4] And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
_____________________________________________________________________
Never in my life time have I heard, or been witness to The Lord giving to man a direct command such as in (verse 4), to go to a certain place, and doing it by an audible voice from human lips. Knowing that who did the speaking was indeed the Lord, yet in the form of a man. The Lord spoke ‘Suddenly’ to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, telling them to go to the tabernacle.
___________________________________________________________________
[5] And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
____________________________________________________________________
The Lord gave a command for the three to go to the tabernacle, and now He is coming down in that ever present ‘pillar of the cloud’ which I think was a smoke screen to hide the action of the ‘Lord’ descending from whatever was ever present not far above their heads, which I personally feel was some sort of individual shuttle from the mother craft which was further up in the atmosphere.
He then ‘stood’ in the door of the tabernacle, this means that he had a human torso, body, legs, feet, etc. Human in every respect, yet clothed in what must have been to Moses angelic clothing, which more than likely was a space suit such as our astronauts of this day use in space.
______________________________________________________________________
[6] And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
_____________________________________________________________________
Since becoming familiar with the computer, I have reasoned that the mind, the brain is a human computer, and as such it also has within it powers beyond the knowledge of man. This act of being a ‘prophet’ I feel is the act of having some sort of ‘spiritual’ software hidden within the depths of the mind, and is activated at the proper time with words, actions, or just logical reasoning.
I also feel that the mind is capable of being a spiritual receiver and transmitter. In my younger years I was an airborne radio operator, so I am familiar with the transmitting and receiving of radio signals, which are not visible to the eye. Visions and dreams can be received via spiritual methods as well as with audio and visual methods.
In (verse 6) the Lord states that ‘if’ there be a prophet among you, that He, the Lord will make himself known in visions, and will speak within the confines of a dream and visions to that individual. He, the Lord is able to activate the planted software in an individual’s mind, and pass on important information, without any witnesses.
_____________________________________________________________________
[7] My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
[8] With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
______________________________________________________________________
Possibly Moses did not have this hidden prophetic software within his brain, and the Lord stated that He would converse with him, ‘mouth to mouth, and would do so with plain language, not using parables, symbols, and ‘dark speech.’
__________________________________________________________________
[9] And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
_____________________________________________________________________
Not a good thing to have the Lord angered against you, as is evidenced in the following verses. This because they spoke out against Moses and his Ethiopian wife, a sin that I have myself committed numerous times, but will never again do so.
________________________________________________________________________
[10] And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
[11] And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.
[12] Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother’s womb.
[13] And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.
[14] And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
[15] And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.
[16] And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
